VIDEO: Louisiana Sisters Forced to Carry Signs For Skipping School (Added 12/20/06)

Nate Crossett

There were signs of bad behavior in Shreveport on Monday and Tuesday ... Literally.  Two Shreveport sisters held signs for passing cars to read.  The signs read: "This is my punishment for disrespecting my mom and skipping school.”

Their mother says she's gotten nothing but positive responses.  The girls stood on the street corner for about 3 and half hours.

“I  rock.  I’m a great mom. More mom’s need to be like you,” said Annette Blankenship.
