David was born and raised in the Mohawk Valley, a proud graduate of Notre Dame High School.

After high school, David studied Journalism and Television broadcasting at Utica College and Herkimer County Community College, Film and Screenwriting at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA, and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Mass Media Communications from SUNY Oswego.

David worked as a newspaper reporter and online video-reporter for the Utica Observer Dispatch before joining NEWSChannel 2 in May of 2007.

David serves as the Assistant News Director, as well as Assignment Editor, and Reporter.

When he’s not working, Dave loves a good cup of coffee, good movies, independent filmmaking, and going to as well as performing in live theatre.
