Dave wears many hats in the NEWSChannel 2 Newsroom, serving as the Assistant News Director, Assignment Editor, Reporter, and fill-in Anchor.

No stranger to the Mohawk Valley, Dave was born and raised in the City of Utica, graduating from Notre Dame High School in 1998.

After high school, Dave studied Film and Screenwriting with film and television veterans at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA, and graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting and Mass Media Communications from SUNY Oswego.

Dave worked as a newspaper reporter and online video-reporter for the Utica Observer Dispatch before joining NEWSChannel 2 in May of 2007.

Some of his favorite assignments while at NEWSChannel 2 so far include all-night coverage on the scene of the F.X. Matt Brewery Fire, The Truth Test series during political season, getting to go back to his alma mater for Back 2 School, and getting into the holiday spirit with traditional Black Friday shopping coverage in the early morning hours the day after Thanksgiving.

When he's not working, Dave enjoys the arts in a variety of forms - be it a good book, good movies, filmmaking, and theatre. He stays active in community theatre, most notably with the Ilion Little Theatre, where he met his wife-to-be, Megan, after the two were cast in the same show in 2007.
