Vic Vetters has been Vice President and General Manager at WKTV since the summer of 2001. For the preceding seven years he was Director of News and Operations. Vic also serves as General Manager at WKTV's sister stations, WFFF and WVNY in Burlington, Vermont.

Vic was the long-time anchor of NEWSChannel 2 at Noon at WKTV. Vic has anchored at several other television stations in the northeast. He began his career at WSTM-TV in Syracuse where he was weekend anchor and reporter. Vic also served as primary anchor at WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

A native of the Capital Region, Vic earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Hamilton College. He received a master’s in broadcast journalism from Syracuse. In addition, he was awarded a law degree with honors from Albany Law School. Vic has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1995.

Vic is involved in several civic organizations. In 2004, he was named Campaign Chairman of the United Way of Greater Utica. In 2003, Vic served as Vice Chairman for United Way.

Vic is married to his wife, Nancy, who is a news producer at WKTV. Their daughter, Laura Leigh, was born in October 2001. The family lives in New Hartford.
