Caroline Gable is the producer of NEWSChannel 2 at Daybreak and Sunrise. She also gives daily news updates from the newsroom for the show in addition to tracking the latest breaking news.

Caroline joined NEWSChannel 2 at Daybreak and Sunrise in April 2009. Prior to coming to NEWSChannel 2, Caroline reported and anchored at KOMU 8 News, an NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri.

She is no stranger to waking up at sunrise, after having worked as an intern for the CBS Early Show in New York City.

Caroline received her bachelor's degree in Radio and Television Journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, the world's first school of journalism founded in 1908.

While in college, she also covered local news for KBIA, the NPR affiliate of Mid-Missouri.

Although she spent her teenage years in New Jersey, Caroline was born in New York State and is happy to be back.

When she is not at NEWSChannel 2, she can normally be found outdoors, going for a run or horseback riding. If it is raining outside, she's trying new recipes or glued to a good book.

Caroline believes everyone has a story to tell, and she is excited to learn the stories of the people in Central New York.
