Nicole Pitt is the anchor of NEWSChannel 2 Weekend at 6:00 and 11:00 and reports during the week for several broadcasts. She joined the NEWSChannel 2 team in September 2010 as the producer of NEWSChannel 2 at Six and NEWSChannel 2 at 10.

Nicole grew up in Boonville and is a proud graduate of Adirondack High School. Go WILDCATS! She graduated with her associates degree from Mohawk Valley Community College before moving on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

Nicole started her journalism career at WTVH-CBS 5 in Syracuse where she produced a variety of newscasts before leaving in 2007.

Nicole married her high school sweetheart, Brad, in 2006. Together they have two children: a daughter and a son. Blooper, the family dog, joined the family in March 2012.

Over the past couple of years, Nicole has been known as the "Newsroom Mother." She enjoys baking and frequently brings in goodies to share. You may remember her segments that aired last January called "Superbowl Snacks."

When Nicole is not working or baking she enjoys exercising and completed her first half marathon in September 2011.
