Jill joins the WKTV weather team after graduating cum Laude from SUNY Albany in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology.

While attending college, Jill interned at WKTV in the summer of 2006 and at WNYT Channel 13 in Albany in the Spring of 2007. Besides interning and competing in the UAlbany and National Forecasting Contests, Jill was involved in the University Dance Council, where she served as Vice President for two years, intramural volleyball ( 6 time champions!!) and supporting the Great Danes Basketball to two NCAA tournaments (UA, U Know).

After living in New Hartford all her life, Jill has learned to love and enjoy the wild winters. She has loved watching the weather ever since she can remember, especially when there were snow days. Her most memorable weather events include the Labor Day Storm, and the 2002 Christmas Day Storm. By far, Jill enjoys the challenge and excitement of forecasting lake effect snow.

In her spare time, Jill enjoys dancing, running, jet skiing, sailing, downhill/cross country skiing, and of course, shopping. Jill welcomes emails at mailto:jreale@wktv.com
