Photographer-Editor

Hours: Part-time (20-30 Hrs. per week)

Supervisor: Steve McMurray, News Director

Qualifications:
Prior professional videotape editing experience preferred

Special Skills:
Must have good communication skills, the ability to think on his/her feet, basic knowledge of computers and internet technology, basic knowledge of videotape editing and recording, basic knowledge of newscast production.

Job Requirements:
Ability to shoot and edit videotape and ability to navigate newsroom computer systems preferred.

Description:
WKTV NewsChannel 2, the NBC affiliate in Utica, NY, is looking for a part-time photographer/tape editor for late night and overnight shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shooting and editing general news stories. He/she must have good communication skills and the ability to react quickly to changes. Prior experience in a news environment is a plus. Must also have a good driving record and be able to lift heavy equipment.

Account Executive – Experienced

Hours: Full time

Supervisor: Frank Abbadessa, Station Manager/Director of Sales

Qualifications:

College degree and prior media sales experience required.

Job Description:
Applications are being accepted for an experienced Account Executive. This person will assist customers with every phase of their advertising campaigns. The successful candidate will prospect sales opportunities, prepare presentations, make sales calls, service existing accounts and make collections. Previous business to business sales experience is necessary. Great communication and computer skills necessary and the ability to interact with client and station personnel required. Must have reliable transportation.
