Morning Anchor/Reporter

Qualifications:
Four-year college degree required
Special Skills:
Must have good communication skills, the ability to think on his/her feet, build solid relationships with news contacts, basic knowledge of computers and internet technology, ability to shoot/edit videotape, and basic knowledge of newscast production.
Job Requirements:
Anchor top-rated morning newscasts, report on a variety of news stories, solid communication skills and ability to navigate newsroom computer systems.
Description:
WKTV NewsChannel 2, the NBC affiliate in Utica, NY, is looking for a candidate with anchoring, reporting, and producing experience for an immediate opening.
He/she must have good communication skills and the ability to react quickly to changes. The candidate will also be responsible for producing newscasts on a fill-in basis. Experience in a television newsroom preferred. Prior anchoring is a plus.

Account Executive – Experienced
Hours: Full time

College degree and prior media sales experience required.
Job Description:
Applications are being accepted for an experienced Account Executive. This person will assist customers with every phase of their advertising campaigns. The successful candidate will prospect sales opportunities, prepare presentations, make sales calls, service existing accounts and make collections. Previous business to business sales experience is necessary. Great communication and computer skills necessary and the ability to interact with client and station personnel required. Must have reliable transportation.
