My Senior Prom was held in one of the most beautiful parts of New England - Newport, Rhode Island. It seemed like a good idea. Go to Newport and enjoy fine dining and dancing in a mansion overlooking one of New England's most scenic coastal communities. Unfortunately It didn't work out so well.

After picking up my date Lindsay and another couple, we drove from my hometown of Holliston, Massachusetts to Milford to meet the third couple. We waited in Milford for quite a while for our friend Issac and his date. They finally arrived, but our limo was late. My best friend Leon was as sick as a dog and slept most of the trip in the limo I ordered for us. The limo driver didn't know how to get to the prom site in Newport and missed the exit making us late. A mile away from the ocean cliff mansion, the limo broke down on a hill. We had to climb out of the car quickly before it began to roll back down the hill.
