WILLIAMSTOWN- David F. Saunders, 68, of Nichols Rd., passed away February 5,  2010 at Oneida Healthcare Center Extended Care Facility.

He was born May 6, 1941 in Sommerville, MA, a son of John and Helen Witham Saunders. David served in the U.S. Air Force and in 1971 he was married to Diane Blowers in Santa Maria, CA.

He worked at Omega Wire, Co. in Williamstown for many years retiring from the laboratory almost ten years ago. He previously was employed as a custodian at Camden High School and has lived in the Williamstown area for about thirty years.

David enjoyed playing golf and his two favorite were baseball teams were the Boston Red Sox and any team that beat the Yankees.

Surviving besides his wife, Diane are one brother, John and Wendy Saunders, Lompoc, CA and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

There were no funeral services. Arrangements by LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main St., Camden.
