Redfield - Henry J. ‘Nick’ Warchol 89, of the North Osceola Rd., passed away Monday Feb 8, 2010 at Rome Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 21, 1920 in Yorkville, NY a son of Joseph & Barbara Wojdyla Warchol and graduated from Williamstown High School. He served with the Civilian Conservation Corp in 1939 and the U.S. Airforce during WWII in the South Pacific. Nick was a Tinner for the Camden Wire Co., for 37 years, retiring in 1984.

He is survived by a sister, Helene Gehring, Centerville, OH, The Curry Family, Redfield, NY and Mary Anne and Alan Durfey, Utica, NY and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was predeceased by his long time companion, Marian P. Adams, two sisters, Jeanette Falvey and Anne Brandt and five brothers, Frank, John, Joseph, Stephan and Edward.

A Funeral Mass will be held 1:30pm Friday from St. John’s Church, Camden, NY. Spring interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Florence, NY. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home, 109 Main Street.
