Katharine Olson and Phillip Gogol were married on October 10, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church of Ilion. Officiating the double ring ceremony was Reverend Victor McKusick. The reception was held at the Crystal Chandelier in Herkimer.
The bride is the daughter of Peg Olson and Kevin Wren of Mohawk and Bill Olson and Lesa Steele of Mohawk. The groom is the son of Paul and Janet Gogol of Ilion.
Best Men were Phil Harris and Greg Farley. Maids of honor were Gretchen and Rachel Olson, sisters of the bride. Groomsmen were Ben Watkins, Eric Clark and Joe Sabo. Bridesmaids were Jen Boyer, sister of the groom, Danielle Ford and Michaela Kennedy. Ring Bearer was Seth Boyer, nephew of the groom. Flower girl was Reganne Jones.
Both are 2002 graduates of Ilion Central School District.
The Bride is a graduate of St. Elizabeth College of Nursing. She is currently perusing a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Utica College. She is employed with Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare as a Charge RN in the Rapid Admission Unit.
The groom holds an Associate degree in Illustration from MVCC and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Information design from SUNY IT. He is employed with Pratt school of Art and Design as a Graphic Arts Coordinator.
The couple resides in Ilion.
