Pain!  This is all I feel right now.  I am working muscles I never knew I had.   I have been to the gym before, in fact way back when I had a membership to the Fitness Mill.  I would go every so often.  I even worked out there with my father, but again nothing on a regular basis.   This is the first time I have worked out  on a regular basis and with this intensity.  

Anyway, I have to be very honest I can barely walk.  Thank goodness I am on vacation right now.  I go to the gym, I come home, I curl up in a ball and sleep.  I operate like this for the first three or four session.   I’m hoping week two will be easier.  Somehow I don’t think Al is going to let that happen.

Fran, the average person also doesn't have to wake up in the wee morning hours either. You have to remember that these two are going to the gym after they work all day too. So, the best thing is to do just that. If you can, go to the gym after work. If you have other responsibilities that keep you from going to the gym get into a regular routine of walking or running. Even a brisk walk for 15-30 minutes during your lunch break with get you started on your way to better fitness,
