1,500 take part in Boilermaker Kids' Run

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - 1,500 kids ran through the streets of East Utica Saturday morning in the 22nd annual Boilermaker Kids' Run.

The rainy weather held off all day as five heats of area children took to the streets. Kids ages four to 12 were allowed to participate.

Organizers say the run is a way for area kids to get involved in Boilermaker Weekend, many of whom may be rooting on their parents in Sunday's 15K Road Race.

Join Don Shipman and Megan Koskovich at 7:30 Saturday night on WKTV for a special recap show of the Kids' Run.
