About the event:
This is your chance to ask the experts questions about running, nutrition, training and injuries. In a casual, conversational setting our panel of experts will directly address any questions that you have about the sport.

This Year's Panel (tentative):

Bill Rodgers

A member of the inaugural class of the National Distance Running Hall of Fame. He was the 1983 winner of the Boilermaker Road Race, four time winner of the New York City and Boston Marathons. Rodgers was ranked number one in the world in the Marathon in 1975, 1977 and 1979, inducted in the Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2000 and Co-Authored The Complete Idiot's Guide to Running.

Kathrine Switzer
Member of the Inaugural Class of the National Distance Running Hall of Fame.

Credited with starting the women's running movement in the USA, winner of the 1974 Boston Marathon, Author of Running and Walking for Women over 40, Marathon Woman and Co-Authored 26.2: Marathon Stories. In 2008, Switzer won the Billie Award for the Marathon Women.

Roger Robinson
2006 George Sheehan Award, distinguished literary scholar and university professor and his parallel life as an elite long-distance runner.

Robinson is a senior writer for Running Times, as well as contributing regularly to Marathon & Beyond and the New York Runner. Co-Authored 26.2: Marathon Stories.

Cindy Chan Phillips

RD, MS, MBA Director of Nutrition Education, New York Beef Industry Council.

A registered dietitian and health communicator, she is the Director of Nutrition Education of the New York Beef Industry Council. She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition Science from Syracuse University, her MBA in marketing in San Diego State University and a Chef certificate from Mohawk Valley Community College Hospitality Program.

John Colianni MD

Sports Medicine Doctor, Board Certified in both Sports Medicine and Family Medicine.

Colianni has served as a team physician for Utica College, SUNY IT and HCCC. He has provided medical coverage at numerous sporting events including Lake Placid Ironman and Beach to Beacon.
