A flash flood watch is in effect for Oneida and Madison Counties until 8pm.

An area of low pressure drives our weather today, bringing waves of rain and a few thunderstorms.  Showers and thunderstorms become more numerous throughout the morning and early afternoon.  Temperatures will be stuck in the 60s throughout the day.

It will feel a little bit like fall on Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs near 70 degrees.  Temperatures will slowly warm up into the upper 70s by the end of the work week.  A few showers are possible again on Wednesday, with drier weather returning Thursday.  More showers and thunderstorms are possible as we look ahead to the weekend, with highs returning to 80 degrees.

Mohawk Valley

Today - Cloudy with rain and thunderstorms.  High 65-70.

Tonight - Rain ends.  Patchy fog.  Low 50-55.

North Country

Today - Cloudy with periods of rain. heavy at times and thunderstorms.  High 63-68.

Tonight - Rain ends.  Patchy fog.  Low 47-52.

Southern Valleys

Today - Cloudy with rain and thunderstorms.  High 65-70.

Tonight - Rain ends.  Patchy fog.  Low 50-55.
