Boilermaker Road Race just hours away
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - It's the third Sunday in July and the City of Utica is feeling the calm before the storm, so to speak. In just a few hours, tens of thousands will make their way to the city for the Boilermaker Road Race.
The 15K Road Race is set to kick off at 8:00 a.m. and is the signature event to an entire weekend filled with races and parties in the Mohawk Valley. StormTracker 2 meteorologists are predicting tempertatures around 60° for the time of the start of the 15K Road Race. Friday and Saturday saw the Health & Fitness Expo at the Masonic Care Community. Boilermaker participants had to pick up their racing packets and goodie bags before Sunday at the Expo. |
