Ready, set, go! The starting line is ready for the big race

UTICA, N.Y.(WKTV) - The fresh paint has been laid down on the roadway and runners are gearing up to get ready for this year's Boilermaker Road Race.

But they're not the only ones getting revved up.

Local businesses are sprucing up as well, and flags will fly along the race route.

Those starting line got a fresh coat of paint, as well as a few of the first footprints thousands of racers will tread over come Sunday.
