Hundreds of youths turn out for Boilermaker Youth Olympics

UTICA, N.Y.(WKTV) - Hundreds of youths flocked to Utica today for the Annual Boilermaker Youth Olympic games.

The tri-athletes and Olympians of tomorrow hone their skills in activities like a giant cup stacking competition, as well as more traditional Olympic-style games like running, and swimming.

The youths, age eight to 14, come from youth organizations all over the area and compete in the activities that test both their physical and mental abilities.

The event takes place at Proctor Park each year.

Right now it's in the fifth year.
