NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Just two days after the 35th Boilermaker Road Race, one regular wheelchair competitor has passed away.

Ed Bradley, a local 15-time Boilermaker Wheelchair Competitor has died, two weeks after suffering a stroke. Bradley, who was born with a form of cerebral palsy, competed in his first Boilermaker race in 1990.

"He has affected more people in helping those with disabilities and showing him you can overcome any obstacles and his attitude and outgoing (nature) were just amazing," said Wheelchair Race Director Gary Roback.

Bradley also competed in the Niagra Falls Marathon for the past two years.
