Lots of vendors with lots of products at 2012 Boilermaker Expo

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - If you plan on heading down to the Field House on the Utica campus of Mohawk Valley Community College on Friday for the 2012 Boilermaker Expo, you can expect to spend a lot of time, especially if you like to shop.

Dozens and dozens of vendors were set up across the campus, with plenty of souviners to commemorate the race. Some of the most popular items for sale included special 35th Anniversary Boilermaker t-shirts, Boilermaker cups, and napkins for you to hold your own post-race party.

Jennifer Hubbard, co-owner of Happy Pace in Maine, was just one of many vendors, on hand with some rather unique items for the kids.

"One of the things we are doing this year is to be really supportive of the parents who are coming, so we have made these t-shirts made of bamboo and organic cotton that say ''Go Mommy and Go Daddy", see you at the finish line, because we really want to encourage everyone to be active."

There are a total of eight full aisles of vendors at the Expo, plus they go all around the sides of the Field House as well.
