2010:Go The Distance participant and Saranac spokesperson Meghan Fraser completes first 15K

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - She's attended the Boilermaker for years and knows it well from the behind-the-scenes end but for the first time F.X. Matt Brewing Company spokesperson Meghan Fraser ran the 15K Road Race with the help of NEWSChannel 2's Go The Distance program.

Meghan said her finish was emotional as she was greeted at the Finish Line by her proud mother and grandparents.

Meghan's only concern was that she was the latest for the post-race party that she had ever been, only because she's usually the one making sure it's set to go. This year, it was set to go for her after her finish.

Meghan said she was inspired to run by her father and wore his number througout the race.
