If you are looking for a scare this Halloween Season, the Monster Maze is the perfect place. It is located on a two acre wooded plot of land off of Meeting House Road in West Winfield.

People young and old say it is like reliving the scariest horror movie you have ever watched, only in real life.

Don Shipman and Andrea Bullard went through the maze on Saturday night along with some NEWSChannel 2 staff such as Meterologist Bill Kardas, Reporter Evan White, Web Producer Andrew Donovan and Photographer Tom Geise. We brough along some students from Whitesboro High School as well.

The Meetinghouse Monster Maze is now up and running for a frightfully fun time. For $5 a person (children under 5 are free) the public can experience a maze full of horrors, with a good scare jumping out from behind every corner. The fun begins at dark and continues until 9 p.m. weekdays and until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

READ BELOW FOR DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS:

FROM THE VALLEY (STARTING IN ILION):                          ETA = 18 minutes
 > Go Southwest on Otsego Street/Rt 51 South 8 miles
 > Continue on Rt 51 South (Ilion Gorge)                 0.7 miles
 > At the end of the Ilion Gorge, go straight on to Wall St  0.2 miles
 > Keep going straight onto Babcock Hill Rd.    

 > Just past the old Stone House Restaurant, turn left on to Meeting House Road

 1.8 miles
 > You will come right to the maze  

 

 

 

 

 

FROM UTICA / NEW HARTFORD:                                 ETA = 24 minutes
 > Go south on Route 8 in New Hartford 6 miles
 > Just past the Sauquoit exit, turn left onto Holman City Road 4.2 miles
 > Holman City Road will become Stone Road   4.1 miles
 > After the Winfield Hwy Dept turn left onto Meeting House Road 2.1 miles

 > The maze will be on your left

  

FROM ONEONTA:                                                        ETA = 60 minutes
 > Take Route 205 12 miles
 > Turn right onto Route 80/Route 205 1.8 miles
 > Keep left at the fork to go on Route 205  0.1 miles
 > Slight left on Route 28            3.3 miles

 > Turn right onto County Route 22 

 6.1 miles

 > Turn left onto Route 20   

 9.0 miles

 > Turn right on Stone Road                  

 0.7 miles

 > Take second right onto Meeting House Road    

 2.1 miles

 > The maze will be on your left.
