The John Lennon Educational Bus will be making a stop at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY as part of The Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) Chapter 22, Central New York , 36th Annual Expo. “The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a non-profit, mobile recording studio outfitted with traditional musical instruments as well as current technological advances.” More information can be found at: http://www.lennonbus.org

On Tuesday, October 7, six area high school students and two students enrolled in area BOCES Broadcast Occupations programs will take part in a daylong workshop on the John Lennon Bus, where they will write a song, produce a video, perform/record the song and edit into a final video that they can take home with them. On Wednesday, October 8, the students will be introduced at the Chapter 22 Reception in the Lava Nightclub at Turning Stone following the close of exhibits at 4:30pm. Their video will be shown and they will be offered as special opportunity to perform a couple of pieces with the Dan Elliott & Trio band playing at the Reception.

The John Lennon Bus will be open for public tours on Wednesday, October 8 from 8:30am to 4:30pm in front of the Event Center at Turning Stone Resort & Casino.
