NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV)  - A special Memorial was held last weekend for a Waterville man who was killed while on duty in Iraq.

A special Color Guard from the New Hartford American Legion Post 1376 traveled to the Saratoga National Cemetery Saturday to remember Corporal John P. Sigsbee on the second anniversary of his death.

They were met by Sue Sigsbee and the family.

The ceremony, held at the grave site, featured the placing of a beautiful wreath, as well as the firing of a volley of shots, concluding with the playing of taps and greeting the family.
