Bowlers hit lanes to benefit Childen's Miracle NetworkUTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Some local bowlers hit the lanes Sunday for the annual Miracles Bowl-a-thon to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. Each bowler gathered pledges in the community based on the number of pins they hit. Many of the bowlers who participate are children themselves and they know they are doing this to help other children! Faxton-St. Luke's CMN Coordinator Michele Adams said, "it has gained popularity over the years and I think it's because bowling is something fun to do. You can do it with your family, you can do it with friends or co-workers, and it's a great event because at the end of the day, you've done something really great for the kids in our community." Several miracle children were in attendance Sunday. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Children's Miracle Network to help miracles come true for kids right here in the Mohawk Valley.
