Kids get teeth cleaned for "Give Kids A Smile" Day

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - 85 local children took a trip Saturday to the dentist in honor of "Give Kids A Smile" Day.

The James M. Rozanski Dental Residency Program at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare held the annual event to give local kids a smile.

40 volunteer dentists and dental hygienists offered free dental care at the Dental Health Center on Burrstone Road in New Hartford.

This is a national program and since 2002, has resulted in the treatment of nearly 500,000 children across the country.
