The fall foliage season is underway in the Northeast! We've compiled lists of links and information to help you plan your leaf-peeping excursion! Check the Weather Blog for some occasional updates, and feel free to email us reports (weather@wktv.com). I Love New York Fall Foliage Report - A detailed report issued each week starting in mid-September to update the progress of foliage change across New York State.

Leaf Guide - A guide to different types of leaves you may encounter on a fall foliage trip.

Average Peak Date Information - A web page detailing when foliage normally peaks across New York State.

Other Sites:

The Foliage Network - An independent website with frequent updates from leaf spotters across the entire Northeast. Contains frequently updated information on the progression of foliage everywhere, including New York. Excellent for a quick overview of who's experiencing the best and most brilliant foliage.

Regional Information/Reports

Official Vermont Fall Foliage Report - The official VT Department of Tourism report on fall foliage

Foliage-Vermont - An independent website with other Vermont reports, as well as a public forum which includes reports from across the state.

New Hampshire Official Fall Foliage Report - Run by the state's tourism department and updated beginning on September 10th or so.

Maine Fall Foliage Reports - Run by the Department of Conservation, includes official Maine foliage updates and online help to plan a trip.

Massachusetts Foliage Reports - Office of Travel and Tourism's official site, with reports starting in Mid-September.

Connecticut Foliage Reports - Dept of Environmental Protection's official site with updates starting in Mid-September.

Pennsylvania Foliage Reports - Official site with weekly reports beginning in late September
