Almost 10,000 people participate in Heart Run & Walk

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - About 10,000 people registered for the 2009 Heart Run & Walk. This is Central New York's marquee event in the raising of funds for heart disease.

Many of the running events have wrapped up but the marquee event, the Walk, is now underway with participants heading towards Heartbreak Hill and then the Finish Line.

The 2009 Heart Telethon is also underway presented by Bassett Healthcare and broadcast by NEWSChannel 2. Call 1-866-374-9588 to donate now.
