HOWES CAVE, N.Y. (WKTV) - If you are just itching to get your Halloween activities started, here is something that might be good for you and the whole family.

On Friday you can take a trip through Howe Caverns with a ghoulish twist!

'Halloween at Howe Caverns' is a charity event that raising money for the Arc of Schoharie County.

Each year the cavern is turned into a family-friendly haunted house.

Just imagine, a demented dentist, scary clowns, vampires, not to mention the 'Enter If You Dare' finale.

"The kids don't have to go through if they don't want to," said Jeff DeGroff, Tour Manager at Howe Caverns. "This isn't for the faint of heart."

According DeGroff nothing screams Halloween more than Howe Caverns, "The cave is the best prop of all because we turn out probably a third of the lights. We have a smoke machine down here creating a fog affect."
