Service arrangements set for Burlington Flats soldier killed in action

BURLINGTON FLATS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Funeral arrangements have been made for the local soldier killed near Baghdad.

The community can pay its respects for Corporal Michael Mayne on Monday.

Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Burlington Flats Baptist Church.

Corporal Mayne joined the armed forces in 2006 after graduating from Edmeston Central School.

On Tuesday, March 3, a funeral service will be held at that school at 11 a.m.

This was Mayne's first tour of duty in Iraq.
