Greenhouse expansion in Rome now complete

By ALLISON NORLIAN

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Spring has sprung and the ribbon has been cut for the Froschauer Green House in the City of Rome.

With gorgeous, bright Red Dahlias and baskets upon baskets of flowers, the family business, which started in 1972, continues to grow bigger with time

Gregory Froschauer, current owner and the son of the original owners, expanded the property to James Street in Rome and has a lot more to sell than just flowers

"Everything from vegetables, plants, annuals, perennials, we have all kinds of shrubs, trees, different items you wont have at any other green house," Froschauer said.

The location has been open since December but did not have it's official ribbon cutting because the owners wanted to wait until this Spring.
