Ilion High School graduates 101 students

ILION, N.Y. (WKTV) - 101 seniors graduated from Ilion High School on Friday night. The commencement was held inside the school's gymnasium.

This years class has been very active when fundraising and the Class of 2011 has a special connection to a certain song and the principal paid tribute to that connection on Friday night.

Principal Renee Rudd said, "The Class of 2011 have worked over the years doing a lot of fundraising, planning activities and they have traditionally done a dance where they have ended the dance, Living On A Prayer by Bon Jovi, so I decided to recognize them tonight and do the song. So we sang and we danced together."

Also, a special congratulations to former NEWSChannel 2 intern Chelsea Blovat who was a member of Ilion's graduating class Friday night.
