Local churches hold special pre-Christmas Sunday masses

CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) - With Christmas just two days away, churches across the world held very special services on this Sunday, including locally.

The message at the Life in Christ Family Church on Robinson Road in Clinton was to remind parishoners what this season is all about.

Pastor Peter Forrester read from the Book of John about the true meaning of Christmas. He said, "I like Christmas because it's a time of joy, and it's also the reason for the season is of course, Jesus Christ, and so many people to forget about that at Christmastime, we're to celebrate the birth of Christ, but not only his birth, but his life, his death, his burial and his resurrection."

Churches will also have special services on Christmas Eve as well as Christmas Day.
