Screams Along the Canal headed into final weekend

SCHUYLER, N.Y. (WKTV) - Looking for a scare? This weekend is the last weekend of the year you can check out "Screams Along the Canal."

The Schuyler exhibit takes you into the woods on a hayride and then leaves you to walk back through a haunted trail.

"You just don't know what to expect," says Screams Along the Canal spokeswoman Su Garcia. "There's many many exhibits here and it's extremely creepy and scary."

This is the third year Joe Rizzo has put on the exhibit which runs on weekends through October. This year, some of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

What makes this exhibit so different? Su Garcia says, "I think being outside is the real clincher, you just can't see it, you don't know what's coming up on you."

Screams Along the Canal is located on Route 5 in Schuyler. It's open Friday and Saturday from 8:00-11:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8-10:00 p.m. Admission is $10.
