By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Members of Utica Post 229 and others gathered to lay a wreath in remembrance of soldiers who never made it home from war.

Some veterans were in full uniform for the ceremony, which took place at the Soldier's and Sailor's Monument in Oneida Square. The tradition dates back nearly fifty years.

The group went to five other memorial sites throughout the city after Oneida Square on Monday.
