Event Description

FDNY Lt. Mickey Kross was with Engine 16 on 9/11/01, and his account of surviving the collapse of the North Tower, harrowing yet ultimately uplifting, will linger in your memory long after you meet the man. Mickey was one of the last firefighters to be pulled out of the North Tower on 9/2/01 at 12:30 PM. Mickey has been featured on A&E, Discovery Channel and the History Channel.

Kevin Hughes is a Marcy, NY native and former Maynard Firefighter. Kevin was in the South Tower on 9/1/01 and was a US Marine reservist tank commander who was among the first to enter Iraq at the start of the war. Kevin's USMC unit is credited with securing Baghdad, Iraq. Kevin has been featured on ABC's Nightline.
