Event Description
"The Past, Present and Future of Performance Art" by Marina Abramovic. Since the 1970s she has pioneered performance as a visual art form, exploring her physical and mental limits in works that ritualize the simple actions of everyday life.
She had her first major U.S. retrospective in 2010 at MoMA. In January, the HBO documentary on Abramovic titled "The Artist is Present" premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
