Patrick Bellegarde-Smith, author, international lecturer, and professor is giving a speech, "Haiti at the Crossroads: Cultural Constructions in the 19th and Early 2Oth Centuries.”

Bellegarde-Smith's speech will detail the creation and cultural history of Haiti and what it will take to transform the nation into a democratic state.
