“Girls on the Groove” is an organization trying to raise money for low income families to send their daughters to dance class.
Dancing has many health benefits. It helps build strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance; not to mention help lose weight and stay in shape. Dancing also helps reduce stress, it boosts self-esteem, and gives the youth something positive to do and look forward to.

“Girls on the Groove” will be doing a bottle drive on Saturday, Nov. 24th from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Bottles and cans can be dropped off at 49 Catherine Street, Ilion at any time this week until Sunday the 25th. We will be going door to door in Ilion on Saturday. Please let me know if you would like to help or have bottles to donate.
