Members of The Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild will gather for their first meeting of the New Year on January 14th. January's program is a gift basket auction as a fund raiser for the guild. The theme is "My New Year's Resolution – “This year I will pamper myself by...” ( Bring a basket (or gift bag or whatever) and put something in it that you could pamper yourself with). The second step for “Stone Soup”, our mystery quilt, will be given out.

Also, members are reminded to bring their show and tell items and their ‘Cozy Quilts’ for the current community service project. These quilts will be used for children in distress, trauma or emotional upset in our own area after being distributed to local police, fire depts., and charitable organizations. The Piecemaker’s, along with other guilds, has already provided a stash of small soft cuddly quilts for the NY State Troopers to carry in their cars to comfort children state-wide in times of crisis.
The Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild meets at the Frankfort Methodist Church on East Main Street, Frankfort. Hospitality begins at 6:00 PM with refreshments by Enola Denison, Gail Domion, and Doris Rathbun.
The business session begins at 6:30 followed by the program and show ‘n tell. New members and guests are cordially invited.
