The event will honor nine female faculty members who published a single-authored book or anthology in 2012. All authors will be present to answer questions about their books, and the library will have copies of each book on display during the event.

The authors being honored are Joyce M. Barry, women’s studies; Barbara Gold, classics; Marianne Janack, philosophy; Anne Lacsamana, women’s studies; Peggy Piesche, German and Russian studies; Joana Sabadel-Nieto, Hispanic studies; Janelle Schwartz, comparative literature; Katherine Terrell, English; and Margaret Thickstun, English.
