Event Description

The Sunday, March 17th, 2013, Kirkland Bird Club program will be "Birds of Oneida County Wetlands" and will be presented by Naturalist and Spring Farm CARES Conservation Director, Matt Perry.

Featured in this new video program and lecture will be many bird species that depend upon wetland habitat for their survival. Birds including the colorful Least Bittern, Great Egret, Wilson's Snipe, Marsh Wren and Osprey will be shown in their wetland habitats. This video footage comes primarily from locations all around Oneida County, including the Utica Marsh, Verona Beach State Park, Delta Lake and Spring Farm CARES Nature Sanctuary.

This free program is sponsored by the Kirkland Bird Club, and will take place at 2:30 PM, Sunday, March 17th, in the meeting room at the Stone Presbyterian Church in Clinton.
