Event Description

Travel from Utica’s Union Station north to Remsen Station, sampling a selection of wines or beers along the way. A different Finger Lakes Winery and New York State brewery will be along for the ride. We will provide some light snacks and music. Additional beer, wine, and non alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.

Ride in our first class car, new last year but upgraded this year! In addition to your wine or beer tasting, enjoy gourmet snacks and table service. All first class passengers will have table seating.

Designated drivers can now ride the train for a discounted $10.00 off normal ticket price. Designated drivers will receive a wristband and can’t participate in wine or beer tasting; however, will receive free soda or water and complimentary snacks.

This trip is accomodates standard sized wheelchairs, please allow for extra boarding time.

Depart Utica: 6:30pm
Arrive in Remsen: 7:15pm
Depart Remsen: 7:45 - 8pm
Arrive in Utica: 8:30 - 8:45pm

Q: Where is Remsen?
A: Remsen, NY is a small town north of Utica.

Q: What do we do during the train break?
A: Hop off the train, stretch your legs, and check out Remsen Station! There are items in the gift shop available to purchase, as well as a concession stand.

Q: Is this trip wheelchair-accessible?
A: Yes. If you are bringing a wheelchair, we request that you come in a standard size wheelchair (not a large scooter) and that you notify us of any special travel needs when you make your reservations. Please arrive half an hour prior to train departure to allow extra time for boarding.

Q: Is there food available?
A: We will provide light snacks (chips, dip, cheese - cheese provided by Cabot Cheese) on the train, and there will be some additional snacks for purchase at the Remsen Depot.

Q: Can I bring my own alcohol?
A: Nope, sorry. If there is a particular wine or beer you would like featured on the train, let us know and we will do our best to supply it!
