Event Description

The Oneida Community Mansion House brings the Jim O’Mahony Trio to the Mansion House on Sun., June 2 at 3:30 p.m. to perform a rendition of Nirvana's seminal 1991 album “Nevermind,” arranged for piano trio. Max McKee on bass and Karl Sterling on drums round out the trio.
The free concert celebrates the one hundredth anniversary of the Steinway piano in the Mansion House’s Big Hall, known for its outstanding acoustics.
The Oneida Community Mansion House was the home of the 19th century utopian Oneida Community (1848-1880). Today, the building houses a museum with permanent and changing exhibitions, residential apartments, overnight lodging, and banquet and meeting space.
