Event Description

For better of for worse, North America has a particular conception of justice and the obligations owed to people with disabilities under the umbrella of equality. This discussion is how the predominant ideas concerning disability and justice in North America interact, conflict, or affirm the dominant narrative amongst Japanese academics working in the area of social justice and human development.

Refreshments will be served at 2:15 with the discussion being conducted by Chris Riddle, Assistant Professor of Philosophy.
