"Adolescent Drug Trends - An Overview" Professional Training

The Oneida County Professional Training Coalition and Center for Family Life & Recovery, Inc. will be presenting an educational workshop by Gary Bulinski, Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) entitled “Adolescent Drug trends – An Overview” Friday, October 18th at Hart’s Hill Inn, Whitesboro, NY (Sponsored by the Oneida County Department of Mental Health). This workshop will take place from 9:00am - 4:00pm, with registration beginning at 8:30am. The cost is $25.00 per participant, which includes morning coffee set-up, lunch & program materials. Please register prior to the event.
This workshop will enable participants to identify the seven categories of drugs, the indicators of impairment associated with each drug category, as well as be able to identify conditions that may cause similar symptoms. Additionally, participants will be able to identify common drugs of abuse, their indicators and their associated drug category.
Social Workers, Addiction Treatment and/or Prevention Professionals, Case Managers, Case Workers, Residential Providers, Parole and Probation Staff, Law Enforcement, Marriage and Family Therapists, Hospital staff and administrators, long-term care staff and administrators, and others serving individuals with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders are highly encouraged to attend this training.
