Auditions of Kindertransport Director Arnold Galin is announcing auditions for the final season show of Rome Community Theater production of Kindertransport. Kindertransport is a play by Diane Samuels, which examines the life of a Kindertransport child during World War II and afterwards. Though fictitious, it is based upon many real kinder stories. In November 1938, after nights of violence against Jews across Germany and Austria, the British government introduced a program called the Kindertransport (children’s transport), which gave Jewish children—and only children—safe passage to the UK.

Auditions will be held at Rome Community Theater on April 13 and 14 - 7:30 PM 4 Females, 3 Males and 1 Girl (10 -16 years old) are needed for the cast. The show will be performed June 5 – 8 2014.
