Event Description

Local fiddle fans eagerly await the chance to meet and hear famed Nashville fiddler, author, bandleader, CRAIG DUNCAN at the FIDDLERS PICNIC FESTIVAL, July 24 through Sunday, July 27,The Fiddlers’ Picnic Festival is made possible in part through a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts, a State Agency. A weekend filled with great fiddle music and dancing.
CRAIG DUNCAN will teach fiddling at NYSOTFA's PRE-FESTIVAL FIDDLE WORKSHOPS, FRIDAY, JULY 25, 12:30 PM to 5 PM. He joins two other instructors who are Fiddlers' Hall of Fame Inductees - Don Woodcock and Gretchen Koehler. The workshop fee is $45 with lunch (only $35 for NYSOTFA members.) and pre-registration is requested. To register, visit or call 315-487-8806. All events take place in accessible facilities featuring a covered, enclosable pavilion with stage and areas for seating and dancing, opening onto a patio with umbrella tables where patrons may see and hear the show while enjoying refreshments available from a food concession.
