Community gathers to support Aids Community Resources

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Live music, food and a silent auction filled the Harza building in downtown Utica Thursday evening for "A Time to Remember."

The annual event is put on by Aids Community Resources, who supports people who are HIV positive and also works to reduce and prevent STD's.

Organizers were pleased with the many attendants and also businesses and artists who donated to the event.

"I think people realize the good we're doing in the community," said Melissa Swald Camman Associate Director of Aids Community Resources of the Mohawk Valley. "People were really, really generous with their donations to make tonight happen so I hope next year we get even more people to come down and check out what we're doing."

All the money raised, stays in the Mohawk Valley.
